Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Is Added to Crunchyroll’s Summer Schedule
After more than two years, the second season of “Jujutsu Kaisen” premieres next week. It was also during this time that we received “Jujutsu Kaisen 0,” which expanded upon the stories of two characters, Yuta Okkotsu and Suguru Geto.
The first season left a lot of loose ends. Choso wants Yuji to pay for killing his brothers. Mahito, Hanami, and the rest of Geto’s henchmen are still at large. It’s not as silly as it sounds for Gojo to suspect a traitor among the sorcerers.
Crunchyroll announced on Friday that the second season of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ will premiere on July 6 for streaming. Streaming of the show will be restricted to the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Oceania, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The second season will go back in time even further, to the spring of 2006. This is 13 years before Yuji ate Sukuna’s finger. Tengen sends his former Jujutsu High school classmates Gojo and Geto on an errand to accompany a young lady named Riko.
To unite with the immortal Tengen and maintain the Jujutsu community, Riko is the “Star Plasma Vessel.” Toji Fushiguro, who has come to slay the Star Plasma Vessel, interrupts Gojo and Get.
The opening theme, “Ao no Sumika” (Blue House), is sung by Tatsuya Kitani, and the closing theme, “Akari” (Lantern), is sung by Soushi Sakiyama.
Both “Gojo’s Past” and “Shibuya Incident” will be featured in the new season’s two-course run. The following tongues will have access to it:
- English
- Spanish (Castilian)
- Spanish (Latin American)
- French
- Portuguese (Brazilian)
- German
- Italian
- Russian
The advanced fighting tactics featured in ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ are still talked about today. If you caught the arc in ‘Sister Goodwill Event’ whereby whole new sorcerers were introduced, you’d agree. The second is more likely to provide insight into Geto’s character and motivation for taking up arms against wizards.
Jujutsu Kaisen
Serialized in Weekly Shnen Jump beginning in March 2018, Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami.
In October of 2020, MAPPA debuted an anime TV series adaption.
The protagonist, Yuuji Itadori, is a high school student who despises sports but is remarkably in shape. Sorcery draws Yuuji in after he consumes a powerful talisman to save his comrades from its curse.
Satoru sees that Yuuji is mostly unaffected by the curse and decides to send him on a mission to save the planet.
