Season 2 of ‘The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent’ to Debut in 2023

Everyone’s favorite isekai, ‘The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent,’ is back with its second season to serve us more of Sei’s magical adventures.

Season 1 was quite the rollercoaster ride that started with Sei as a nobody and ended with her being the most important entity of Salutania. Now that the overpowered saint has tapped into her true potential, it’s time for her to learn the world’s ways.

Unlike the first season, ‘The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent’ season 2 will be a bit more relaxed in terms of action. Its latest teaser shows how laid back the upcoming season will be while also confirming its 2023 release.

The teaser features an intriguing conversation between Sei and Jude where the two compare potion-making to sexual activities. This is an isekai, so obviously, it won’t be complete without NSFW references.

Jude jokes about how Sei’s experimentation is much like sexual intercourse, much to the latter’s annoyance. The conversation takes a totally different path and ends with Jude announcing the second season’s premiere.

Now let’s come back to the story. As I mentioned, the upcoming season will be low on action and more on business and cooking. However, it might get exciting in the later episodes.

The story will continue with Sei trying to boost her business ventures and having it easy due to her popularity as the omnipotent saint. While being famous due to your skills is a plus, it invites more trouble than usual.

Sei will need to learn that not everyone is a good person, and some people might approach her with ill intentions. This will be the central plotline of the season and is also very realistic as it shows how great power gets you equal parts of loss and profit.

Moreover, her business will involve a lot of cooking as she will deal with foreign merchants and imported foods.

The upcoming season is the perfect watch for all those who love to cook or are interested in the business world.

As for others, the show has a variety of themes that cover many fields instead of focusing on just one. Due to this, the story becomes a lot more intriguing and engaging, which is unlike the typical isekai genre.

Sei is a 20-year-old office worker who is summoned to an isekai world as a saint.
