Doroka has been accepted by Adonis as a friend for his trip and now in The Kingdoms of Ruin Episode 9 they will be moving to a city named Mamuta to look for more information so that Adonis can take advantage when he attacks the Redia Empire.
In the previous episode, we saw that after the death of the emperor of the Redia Empire Goethe, his queen Dorothea who is also a witch uses the same love magic as Doroka. The coronation ceremony was grand and the whole empire accepted her as their queen. Adonis and Doroka were on their own trip and then they reached a deserted place named Sand Land.
They roamed around the place to figure out if someone was still there and found one old man inside a prison cell that informed them that everyone else left for the nearby city. He was there inside that with her dead wife. Now Doroka and Adonis will be heading towards Mamuta city which is around 70 Kilometers from the Sand Land.

The Kingdoms of Ruin Episode 8 Recap
The last episode started with a tribute to the former emperor of the Redia Empire Goethe who died after he contracted the disease from the machine that was used to erase magic from the witches. Then we witnessed the coronation of the new emperor who turns out to be Goethe’s queen Dorothea. She performed like an idol and soon was accepted by everyone as she used her love magic to gain popularity.
One was seen talking about how contradictory this is as she wiped her own kind and then became the face of humanity. Director Shirousagi on the other side was on a mission to look out for Adonis but he sure wanted to coronation of his childhood friend. Adonis cleared his intentions to Doroka that he would not stop seeking revenge and asked her to not get in his way.
After a short trip on bike, they reached a place named Sand Land but that looked like a deserted place as no one was to be seen. Then they went to look around for a while and found a person inside a jail cell and that man informed them that all the people from Sand Land left the place to live in Mamuta city which is nearby.
We then saw that the man was living with his witch wife’s remains as she was killed during the Witch Hunts but he did not want to let go of her and decided to live inside the prison cell where no one would disturb him. After this Adonis and Doroka left for the city.
