Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 20 Recap
The 20th episode of Jujutsu Kaisen showed the aftermath of the catastrophic event that led to the death of Kugisaki Nobara. Yuji was not able to handle what had happened in front of his eyes and fell into despair but this did not stop Mahito at all. Mahito went straight for the attacks on Yuji but Yuji stopped countering attacks. Mahito said that their thinking and reasoning are simple but they just have different mindsets.
Yuji saves people without thinking while Mahito kills people without thinking. Then Mahito went to finish Yuji but Todo appeared. Yuji then told him that this all is unbearable for him and he can not continue. Todo then gave him a speech about the dead and told him that when they chose to become the jujutsu sorcerers world changed for them and they could not stop death from fulfilling their duties as sorcerers.
Yuji then tried to get back on his feet while Todo went against Mahito. Mahito did not realize that Todo was this strong but as soon as the fight started, Mahito was over the top with his excitement. The brothers Yuji and Todo soon joined hands and landed some serious attacks on Mahito but that was not enough to take Mahito out. Mahito still had around 40% of his soul left while Yuji was on 10%.
Mahito was not in the mood to give up and used his cursed spirits to release an all-out attack that destroyed the surrounding buildings. We also saw Miwa talking to Mechamaru as she was headed toward Shibuya Station with the others. We saw that Mechamaru told her what he wanted to say all this time but it did not change the things he did he wished Miwa for the last time to be happy even after he was gone.
