Sung Jin Woo cleared the instance dungeon after defeating Kasaka. New threats are waiting for him in Solo Leveling Episode 5 as he goes on his path to become the strongest hunter from the weakest hunter in the world.
In the last episode, we saw that Sung Jin Woo was up against the Lycan, and defeating him was not that easy on his current level and the monsters inside this bonus dungeon were different from the usual monsters. He then remembered that he had a sword stored up in his inventory and after a bit of struggle, he was able to defeat the Lycan and level up.
Then more of those showed and Jin Woo slashed them all one by one and reached level 15. His strength did wonder here as he used all his points from daily training to increase his strength. After Lycans, it was the time for Razans but it was also an easy feat for him. The monster’s name shows up in different colors as Jin Woo levels up with time.
The thing he was most scared of was the monster that was lurking underground of the metro station and he was getting chills down his spine despite knowing that it was nothing compared to the threat he faced when he entered that double dungeon that helped him become the player of the system. Solo Leveling Episode 4 Recap
In the previous episode, we saw that Sung Jin Woo was struggling against Lycan without a weapon but as soon as he remembered that he had a sword inside his inventory and pulled it out, it all turned into an easy battle for him. He then slashed Lycans one after another and then moved to Razans. This was the first real battle he faced after becoming a player and at that time he was on level 15.
He was considering leaving the dungeon as the boss of the dungeon was giving some serious bad vibes and Jin Woo did not wanted to end up dead here. He then remembered the humiliation he received in the past for being the weakest hunter in the world and other things he decided to fight the boss. The dungeon boss here was a big snake named Venom Fanged Kasaka.
The sword he was using all this got worn up and broke as soon as the boss battle started. At first, Sung Jin Woo struggled but he decided to not give up and the sword was not working against Kasaka so he used his brute force and managed to defeat the dungeon boss. After clearing the dungeon, he received a dagger made with Kasaka’s fang and two abilities associated with it.
Joo Hee was also called for a mission and when Jin Woo got out he got tangled with the mission but all it took was a throw of that broken sword from Jin Woo to defeat the monster. Then he left the place while all the hunters who were fighting were wondering about what just happened as they were struggling against that monster for a long time.
Solo Leveling Story
The story is centered around the protagonist, Sung Jin-Woo, who is the weakest hero of all. He is an E Rank Hunter (the lowest rank) and is often humiliated and looked down on by his peers. The world where many gates to dungeons have opened gave rise to monster appearances. Sung Jin-Woo is determined to support his ill mother and sister.
During a dungeon raid, Sung Jin-Woo and other hunters find themselves in a bad situation, and Jin-Woo is the last one left standing after a mysterious event. He found out that he has acquired a very unique ability to “level Up” as if he were a character in a video game. Jin-Woo becomes a “Player” in a world filled with dungeons, monsters, and other entities beyond human comprehension.
His goal is to become the strongest and unravel the mysteries surrounding his newfound powers. As Sung Jin-Woo progresses in his quest, he faces various challenges, battles various monsters, and unfolds the secrets of the dungeons and the system that oversees the gates and all.
