The 10th Round of Ragnarok has started in Record of Ragnarok Chapter 87 but what has happened till now looks like a tip of the iceberg as Susanoo no Mikoto is now getting in the mood for a real sword fight among two great swordsmen.
In the last chapter, we saw that the battlefield for the 10th round of Ragnarok was all set. The setting for the arena was Kyoto City from the Edo Period. The audience was pushed to the back and a monitor screen was installed to see the match. The first warrior was from the God side who was the one who defeated Yamata no Orochi with his sword. The God of Swords who defeated Takamagahara, Susanno no Mikoto was introduced first.
He appeared on the stage and it was revealed that he requested the change to the arena. The reason behind this strange request was not known but he looked very excited about this. The human warrior was from the time of the Han Dynasty and he was the leader of the first division of the Shinsengumi. Souji Okita entered the arena with his Kikuichimonji Norimune. Okita was feeling pretty nostalgic as he saw Kyoto from the Edo Period.
The fight started but Susanoo was not interested in the fight at that time. He instead asked Okita about the Ikedaya incident when four Shinsengumi members fought and won against 20 Sonjo fighters. Okita was impressed by his knowledge while he was busy admiring the place. Susanoo then said that he was very excited to face the strongest hitman from the Edo period. He also said that Ikedaya is the place of his dreams. Okita’s friends from Shinsengumi were also present and were cheering for him.
