The Story Behind Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?
Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? is set in a universe where the conflict between five races—people, the Demonic Race, the Wild God Race, the Spirit Race, and the Phantom Beast Race—ended with humanity’s triumph. This victory was attributed to the “Prophet Sid,” who fixed the defeated races in the black pyramids known as “Crypts.”
The protagonist, Kai, is tasked with watching these crypts to guarantee the seals remain intact. In any case, Kai experiences a distortion in reality at some point, leading to the activation of “World Rebirth.” Unexpectedly, Kai finds himself in a completely altered world where nobody remembers him, but he retains his memories of every other person.
The anime will debut in Japan on TOKYO MX on July 13, 2024. Additional broadcasts will follow on BS Asahi, Kansai TV, and AT-X, ensuring that fans across different districts can experience this captivating series.
