While he enjoyed the meal, he asked about the other Immortals’ whereabouts. Not so surprisingly, Machina wasn’t aware of them and revealed that she had been staying away from those people. It later sparked another conversation where Veltol shared about his weakness, which had to do with the lack of faith people had in him.

While Veltol was eager to change the situation, he decided to find a job. He didn’t want to be a burden on Machina. However, he failed to land a job at the Commercial Guild because of his over-the-top resume. The Commercial Guild also explained that they couldn’t offer him a job as he didn’t have a Familia. This disappointed Veltol, who was at the edge of losing confidence. However, to boost his confidence, Machina introduced the Demon Lord to her friend Takahashi, who came up with a brilliant job offer for him.
