A movie about Ai Haibara will be made as a collection in January
A compilation film named Detective Conan: Ai Haibara’s Story Jet-Black Mystery Train was revealed on the official website for Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine on December 7 in anticipation of the new film.
The film will be a re-release of the four-episode “Jet-Black Mystery Train” arc from the anime, which originally aired in episodes 701-704. Some pivotal moments from the television anime’s run that focus on Ai Haibara will also be included in the film.
The compilation film is slated to release on January 5 and will include new footage at the end of the film that connects it to Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine.
The films based on the Detective Conan manga by Goushou Aoyama have been released in English by Shogakukan Asia as Detective Conan and by Viz media in the United States under the title Case Closed.
Since its initial release in 1994, 102 tankouban volumes of the manga have been published as of September 2022. The manga first appeared in Weekly Shonen Sunday, and the TV anime, which debuted in 1996 and is still airing, is based on the manga.
In Detective Conan, a high school prodigy named Jimmy Kudo uses his excellent observational skills and intuitive sleuthing to solve cases that have baffled the police.
Because of his efforts to apprehend a specific culprit, he was kidnapped and had to consume a mysterious drug that reversed his adult appearance and made him act like a child. After adopting the identity of Conan Edogawa, he sets out to track down his tormentors.
Jimmy is now constantly helping the police with their most difficult cases while also trying to find a treatment for his strange ailment.
YuzuruTachikawa is directing, and Takeharu Sakurai is penning the film’s script.
Yūgo Kanno is creating the music.
Detective Conan
Gosho Aoyama creates the detective manga series Detective Conan. It has been in print for over twenty years, with the first installment appearing in 1994.
The high school detective Shinichi Kudo, better known as Conan, is a youngster again after ingesting a toxin.
He works with the FBI and an eclectic cast to unravel mysteries. He assumes the identity of Conan and goes on the hunt for the criminal organization that shrank him.
