Anime Adaptation Of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction Manga

It was announced on December 10 via the official Twitter for Yu Hashimoto‘s manga 2.5 Dimensional Seduction that the manga would be translated into a television anime.

There’s a brand new website for the show, and the first image showcases Lilysa, the protagonist, in full Lilliel cosplay.

Hashimoto also published an image in celebration of the anime’s announcement.

Seven Seas has acquired the rights to publish the manga under its Ghost Ship label. Specifically, Seven Seas explains the plot of the manga as follows:

““I have no interest in real girls!” Okumura, head of the school’s manga club, insists on this. He’s your standard otaku, fixated on the attractive (fictitious) 2D manga character Lilliel.

The next school year begins, and the club welcomes Lilysa, a (actual!) 3D girl with a penchant for cosplay. Lilysa manages to persuade Okumura to become her official photographer; can you guess who her favorite manga character is?

But that’s not all: Lilysa also models fetishwear. As this high-energy romantic comedy progresses, it becomes difficult to tell where 2D and 3D meet.

In 2019, Hashimoto debuted his manga on the Shonen Jump+ website published by Shueisha. On October 4, the fifteenth collected volume of the manga was published, and on January 4, the sixteenth will do the same.

Over 1.7 million copies of the manga are out there right now.

A high school student called Okumura who claims he has no interest in girls other than those in manga and anime stars in this romantic comedy.

However, things change for him as he meets Lilysa, whose favorite manga character is the same as his, and whom she enjoys cosplaying as.
