Anime Galaxy Next Door New Trailer and Air Date Announced
The second promotional trailer for the anime television adaptation of Gido Amagakure’sA Galaxy Next Door manga was uploaded on the show’s official website on January 27.
The video provides a sneak peek at the opening theme song “Tonari Awase,” sung by Chinatsu Matsumoto, and announces that the anime will begin airing on April 8.
The website also featured an updated main graphic and additional cast members. Rie Takahashi will play Chihiro Ibusuki, Tomokazu Sugita will portray Masahiro Morikuni, and Yoko Hikasa will play Momoka Morikuni, all of whom are new cast members.
Taku Yashiro plays Ichir Kuga, Yu Wakui plays Shiori Goshiki, Rina End plays Machi Kuga, and Maria Naganawa plays Fumio Kuga, all of whom were named in advance.
While it airs, Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime. Crunchyroll gives us this synopsis of the anime’s plot:
Ichirou Kuga has been struggling to provide for his two younger siblings ever since their father passed away, living off of a meager inheritance and his love of painting manga. In A Galaxy Next Door, we learn what happened when Shiori Goshiki, Kuga’s new mysterious helper, announces that she and Kuga are engaged to get married.

Anime director Ryuichi Kimura and series composer Gigaemon Ichikawa work at the Asahi Production studio. Yasuka Otaki is responsible for designing the characters in the show.
The original manga was published in the April 2020 issue of Kodansha’s Good! Afternoon magazine, from which the anime adapted its plot.
A Galaxy Next Door
Gido Amagakure has created the manga A Galaxy Next Door. A Ryuichi Kimura-helmed anime adaptation is in the works at the Asahi Production studio.
The plot of the anime centers on a young man who, after the death of their father, must take care of his younger brothers with only the money he has saved and his love of manga art.
