The anime premiered in April of 2011, centered on a group of childhood friends who try to reconnect after the ghost of their friend Menma appears and makes them fulfill her last wish. The anime show has inspired various adaptations and saw the release of a sequel film in 2013.

The event titled “Anohana 10 Years After Fes.” is set to take place at the anime’s real-life setting of Chichibu in Saitama. The name of the event is a callback to the Anohana Fes that took place in 2011.
