Assassin’s Creed Nexus will feature Ezio, Kassandra and Connor
For OG fans, the name Ezio Auditore da Firenze is synonymous with the Assassin’s Creed franchise. He was a part of the Order of the Assassins after being born to an Italian Nobility in Florence.
He featured in four mainline Assassin’s Creed titles: Assassin’s Creed: II, Discovery, Brotherhood, and Revelations.
In the updated Assassin’s Creed: Nexus VR website, Ubisoft has confirmed that the title will include the three “Legendary Assassins,” namely the fan favorite Ezio Auditore, Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Connor from the American Revolution.
The website mentions that the events of Assassin’s Creed Nexus will be placed two years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. Ezio will be reuniting with friends and family in the title.
It was mentioned that players would get a chance to meet Leonardo Da Vinci. Ezio’s story in AC: Nexus is an entirely new one. It comprises of “harrowing conflict, stolen treasures, and revenge.”
As mentioned on the website, Kassandra’s story bears some promise and will come as exciting news to fans. Earlier, she was also spotted as a guide and mentor in the closed beta of Assassin’s Creed Jade.
It was mentioned that Kassandra’s story will be set twenty years after the Battle of Amphipolis, where she gets caught up in a new conflict between Athens and Sparta during the reign of the “Thirty Tyrants” who ruled Athens brutally.
Connor’s story is very intriguing as very little is known about him. His role in AC: Nexus will be rescuing an imprisoned Son of Liberty in Boston after being contacted by Achilles. His new storyline has been dubbed espionage, intrigue, and betrayal.
Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade will feature an old protagonist
With an exciting era for the franchise coming, including such fan-favorite characters will be a bonus. The release date is not known yet.
