Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre Finally Gives Us Oliva vs. Baki In Season Finale
The much-awaited Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre is finally here, and man, it did not disappoint. Although it was less fight-heavy than the previous seasons, the final one between Baki and Oliva blew everyone’s minds.
There was something different about Baki from the start. Even though he had the same personality, there was an aura of confidence around him that we had never seen before. Obviously, he needed it, considering who he was going to challenge.
Although the fight started out as a one-sided beating by Oliva until they hit the prison’s compound. Oliva decides to pull out one of the coolest moves we have ever seen. It is officially called Ball, but obviously, Pac-Man is the more suitable term.
This allows Oliva to protect against anything, even something like Goutaijutsu. He swallows Baki like a Pac-Man and spits him out like chewing gum. One would think that would end it, but not with Baki.
Baki pulls out Demon Face to recover and then just throws it down with Oliva. They start to slug it out with a melee of punches when finally Oliva falls, and Baki finds himself outside the prison blowing through a wall in the process.
Baki Hanma defeated Biscuit Oliva and gets out of the Arizona State Prison.
Although the fight in and of itself was amazing, it was cool to see it through the eyes of mere mortals in typical Baki fashion.
