“A Condition Called Love” also known as “Love’s Sickness with Hananoi” is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Megumi Morino. Fourteen volumes of the manga have already been released. An Anime television series adaptation produced by East Fish Studio is set to premiere in April 2024.
On Friday, the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Megumi Morino’s “A Condition Called Love” manga announced the addition of two more cast members to the show.
The additional cast of the TV anime “Hananoi-kun and Love Sickness” will include Sayumi Suzushiro and Kazuyuki Okitsu. She will play the role of Satomi Satomura and Yukihiro Kuroe, respectively.

Plot of “A Condition Called Love”
Hotaru Hinase is a kind-hearted first-year high school student who values her relationships with her family and friends above all else. She has never been interested in romance and has decided that she will be content living without the experience of falling in love.
One day, while spending time at a cafe with her close friend, Hotaru witnesses the painful breakup of a handsome honor student, Hananoi. Afterward, she encounters him sitting alone in the snow on her way home and extends her umbrella to him in a gesture of kindness. The very next day, Hananoi appears in Hotaru’s classroom and asks her to be his girlfriend. Despite being taken aback by his sudden confession; Hotaru is touched by Hananoi’s persistence in pursuing her and his selfless acts of kindness.
As they spend more time together, Hotaru begins to feel a range of emotions she had never felt before and wonders if they could be the beginnings of love. Despite her doubts and confusion, Hotaru agrees to date Hananoi and embarks on a journey of self-discovery as she navigates the ups and downs of her first romantic relationship.

It has been decided that the TV anime “Hananoi-kun and Love Sickness” will start nationwide simultaneous broadcasting on 28 TBS stations every Thursday at 11:56 a.m. on April 4th!
Two major streaming services, Crunchyroll and Netflix also have announced plans to bring a new romance anime called “A Condition Called Love” to viewers around the world. Crunchyroll will stream the anime upon its release, making it available to viewers in many regions. Meanwhile, Netflix will simulcast the anime in select regions beginning on April 4, shortly after its Japanese TV broadcast. With both services bringing this new romance anime to audiences around the world, it’s sure to be a hit with fans everywhere.
