Busy Easy Money: Princess Principal OVA Ships with 1st Anime Film’s BluRay

Fans have been delighted ever since the Princess Principal franchise’s six-part anime film series was announced. The first film premiered earlier this year and was praised for its unique setting and story involving a group of young female spies.

Despite the second film scheduled to be released later in the year, the fans cannot wait to experience more action!

Set in the Kingdom of Albion, the series follows five young girls who are undercover spies. Their motto is to create a path for Princess Charlotte to take over as the kingdom’s ruler. However, this task is not that easy, and they have to overcome many obstacles first to achieve their target.

The official website of “Princess Principal: Crown Handler” announced that a new OVA titled “Busy Easy Money” will be released on September 28.

The OVA will be shipped alongside the Blu-ray disc of the first “Princess Principal: Crown Handler” anime film. Including taxes, the whole package will be available in the Japanese markets at 8,580 yen (78.46 US dollars). Audio commentary will also be included in the package.

In the OVA, Dorothy will be seen summoning the rest of the group members to discuss some important topics. Fans will need to watch the animation to know precisely what Dorothy has found out!

The cast and crew from the first film reprise their roles, with Masaki Tachibana returning as director. Sentai Filmworks will continue to act as the production house for the video animation.

Initially, the first film was scheduled to premiere last year, but it was postponed to February of this year due to restrictions imposed for the coronavirus pandemic. The second film of the franchise will be released in this year’s fall. The OVA “Busy Easy Money” will act as a bridge between both films.

Directed by Masaki Tachibana, the original anime aired back in 2017 with 12 episodes. With six films being planned, the franchise is expanding, and fans cannot wait to see what happens next!

Princess Principal is a Japanese anime television series produced by Studio 3Hz and Actas.

The series was directed by Masaki Tachibana and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, with original character designs by Kouhaku Kuroboshi and Yukie Akiya, and music by Yuki Kajiura. The series aired from July to September 2017.

A six parted film series has been planned by Actas with Film 1 being released in February 11, 2021. Film 2 is slated for a Fall 2021 release.
