Crunchyroll Licenses ‘Revenger’ and Two Other Anime for Streaming
As always, Crunchyroll is the pioneer in bringing the most diverse range of anime to otakus, and once again, it hasn’t disappointed us.
While the fall anime lineup looks promising enough, the streaming site has also revealed some extra series that will be available to us next year.
At the New York Comic Con, Crunchyroll announced a bunch of series that have been licensed by the company recently. Among these new licenses were ‘Revenger,’ ‘The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World’ and ‘By the Grace of Gods.’
Revenger is an original anime from Nitroplus and Shochiku. A new trailer and visual were recently revealed for the anime, but a release date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
The anime’s plot follows a master assassin, Usui Yuen, who investigates a chain of murders. On his way, he realizes that the murders have something far more sinister lurking beneath and some stolen resources are just the cover.

Next in line is The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World which will premiere on Crunchyroll in January 2023. The story features a war hero who just wants to live an average life.
Ray White, the protagonist, will be dragged into the battlefield once again, but this time he won’t be as lonely as before.

Crunchyroll has also confirmed that it will stream season 2 of By the Grace of the Gods in January 2023. This anime made its name known far and wide after it showed the most ridiculous isekai death ever. (Death by sneezing, what happened to dear old Truck-kun?)
In season 2, Ryoma is set to have some more mind-blowing adventures as he plans to begin a second business. He will also attempt his first successful solo adventure and get involved in some grand scheme of events.
‘By the Grace of the Gods’ Season 2 Set for an Early 2023 Release
All in all, Crunchyroll has made it clear that the streaming website is second to none in case of a vast and unique library. From samurais to OP protagonist anime, the website’s library expands by leaps and bounds every season.
Of course, we can’t forget the heavy dose of isekai anime, because who doesn’t need more slimes and useless transportation in an overdone genre? Well, you have to try to make everyone happy, and Crunchyroll is doing its best.

Revenger is a new original anime by Nitroplus and Shochiku. It is about a swordsman who is out to fight the cruel people out there.
Not much about the plot and other details have been revealed yet. The hero’s tagline is “I cut down people in order to fight against a cruel fate.”
