Crunchyroll to Bring ‘TenSura: Scarlet Bond’ to the Big Screen By 2023

To the west of Tempest is located a new country named Razha. Its queen is a young girl with mysterious powers, so it’s obvious that Rimuru and his friends will get tangled up in the mess, giving rise to a new TenSura adventure.

The franchise’s upcoming movie has started getting all the hype from isekai fans since it was announced. But why is it getting so much attention? I think Benimaru’s alleged brother can answer that question.

Since it’s a film from a popular franchise, people from every corner of the world are anticipating it, and only one name comes up when we talk about global releases.

Crunchyroll has announced that it will screen the upcoming That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond anime film in early 2023. The company has also released an English-subtitled trailer for the same.

The film will open in Japan in November 2022.

It starts with Rimuru introducing himself and how he became the king of Tempest and a Demon Lord after being reincarnated as a slime. After that, we finally get to see the kingdom of Razha.

Then it goes on to show us Razha’s queen and gives a teaser of her formidable skills in magic. She showcases her skills in front of a crowd, and Rimuru is informed of just how magnificent the queen’s powers are.

Then we get to see Benimaru’s supposed brother Hiiro, an ogre who is a skilled fighter, just like his sibling. It is shown how he gives Benimaru a tough time during combat while the latter is left wondering if it’s really his elder brother.

About That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime

That Time I Got Reincarnated as Slime is a Japanese manga series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. It was serialized online in 2013 but was later shifted to Micro Magazine as a light novel in 2014. It currently has 21 volumes.

The story of Tensei Shitara Slime follows the journey of Satoru Mikami after he died and reincarnated as a slime in fantasy land. A slime is a creature that reproduces the form and powers of anything that it absorbs or eats.

Satoru starts eating all the magical herbs and crystals in the cave he woke up in and stumbles upon a dragon who had been captured and couldn’t move due to a barrier. Since both of them had nothing else to do, they befriend each other. The dragon accidentally makes Satoru a named monster, and Satoru promises him that he’d find a way to break the barrier. Hence, an unknown journey begins with this unusual friendship.
