As the name suggests, D4DJ is an anime about music that focuses on DJing. DJing is a popular activity in the Yoba Academy and several groups have been formed for that. The major groups featured in the story have 4 members.
The official Twitter account of D4DJ First Mix anime revealed that the anime’s first episode will have an online premiere on 22nd October. A new key visual has also been released.
Happy Around, Peaky P-key, and Photon Maiden are the bands that are featured in the visual.
Rinku Aimoto, the protagonist of the story belongs to the Happy Around DJ group. Their performances are full of energy and excitement.

The anime is supposed to debut on television on 30th October in Japan. However, its episode 1 will premiere on 22nd October online, which is a week before the television debut.
D4DJ will be dubbed in English, Spanish and Chinese. It will also receive subtitles in several languages along with English.
The anime will premiere worldwide on the D4DJ Global Channel on Youtube (excluding a few countries). Funimation, Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, and Anime Network will stream the anime in North America.
It will be available on Crunchyroll and HIDIVE in North and Central America, Europe as well as Oceania.
Several online services will premiere D4DJ in Eastern and South-Eastern Asia.
D4DJ: The story of Happy Around is the manga version of the upcoming anime. The manga was released on 8th October 2020. A free-to-play mobile rhythm game called D4DJ Groovy Mix will also be launched on 25th October in Japan.

D4DJ First Mix is about Rinku Aimoto who decides to team up with Maho Akashi, Muni Ohnaruto, and Rei Togetsu to create a musical unit called Happy Around!
While hanging out with other music entities like Peaky P-Key and Photon Maiden, Rinku and her friends have to prepare for their performances on stage
D4DJ franchise is set to receive anime game adaptations and live DJ events.
