Laois and the party members will be heading towards the fourth floor in the dungeon in Delicious in Dungeon Episode 7. Looks like they got troubled by some water trap as shown in the preview for the upcoming episode.
In the last episode, we saw that Laios and others were tired after the continuous walking inside the dungeon but every door they faced was locked and they had no food all this time except for some snacks left from the last time when they cooked those treasure bugs. Chilchuck then used his technique and they were able to enter one gate but there was still no trace of any monsters.
Senshi insisted that they keep moving and reach the fourth floor at the earliest so that they can have something to eat but Laios said that should take some rest as they were all tired from constant walking without any solid food. Laios then noticed some paintings and wanted to eat the food inside those paintings but all his attempts failed as the food inside the paintings could not be taken outside even if it had been eaten.
Also, one of the guards discovered him and was about to punish him but Senshi and others pulled him out at the right time. While choosing a safe place to sleep Chilchuck noticed a mimic but decided not to tell others as his past experiences with those were bad and he had died multiple times already while dealing with mimics. In the previous episode, we saw that the whole party was pretty exhausted after walking down the dungeon without any food. Laios made some attempts to take and eat food for his party members from those paintings but it was a fruitless effort as it was figured that the food from the painting could not be taken out and they felt hungry once they got out of that painting.
This also aborted their plan to rush up and reach the fourth floor of the dungeon. Then they decided to rest for the day. Chilchuck noticed a mimic while entering the space but decided not to tell anyone as Laios and Senshi would have wanted to eat that too. At night, Chilchuck was out of the water and went to refill his pot but then got trapped inside with that mimic.
After some battle, Chilchuck somehow managed to kill that mimic but the commotion woke up the others, and when Senshi and Laios saw the thing only one thing was going through their mind. The mimic was then cooked and it looked like lobster and it also tasted good. It was also revealed that Chilchuck only looked like a child but he is a 28-year-old man but according to their world, he is still a kid.
