Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 8: Recap

Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 8 was a treat for the fans, as it was a One-hour episode. Rengoku’s death at the hands of the Upper Moon demon Akaza — and his subsequent humiliating retreat – is the focus of the first episode’s first few minutes.

Muzan, the demons’ leader, chastises Akaza before sending him off to lick his wounds. Muzan has cleverly disguised himself as an orphan who has been adopted by a caring family.

Meanwhile, Tanjiro heals from his wounds and travels to Rengoku’s house to deliver his dying messages to both his father and brother. While his Father is embarrassed by Rengoku’s failure, his brother, Senjuro is more devasted and is willing to help Tanjiro in getting to know more about the origins of ‘Sun Breathing.

Even though we saw Kyojuro’s father, a former hashira showing no emotions on his son’s death. Later after hearing to the last message of his son, he melts down.

Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu all follow the Sound Hashira Uzui Tengen to the Entertainment District in search of demons to fight after months of extra training.
