Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 18 reveals that the show is faithful to the manga up to its final chapter, 97. This is evidence that Muzan has requested Akaza’s presence at the Infinity Palace. Which has led to the demons finding out that one of the Upper Moon was slain by the demon slayers.

Tanjiro awoke with tears in his eyes after a traumatic dream he had the night before.
