The Plot of ‘Detective Conan: Iron Submarine’ Will Have Tech-Based

Detective Conan is preparing to participate in the 26th anime film in the series, ‘Kurogane no Submarine.’ All we know about this movie is that Ai Haibara is the main character and Conan will once again come to the rescue.

Furthermore, because the Black Organization is the antagonist in this one, the film will go into both of these characters’ shared pasts. This much information should be more than enough to make any fan ecstatic.

Keeping this in mind, the franchise has released a dramatic trailer for the upcoming film ‘Detective Conan: Iron Submarine.’ The film will be released in Japan on April 14, 2023, with further information on its global distribution to follow shortly.

This 30-second teaser delivered a spectrum of emotions from thrilling to tragic, sending goosebumps down my spine. Furthermore, the film has so much going on that you’ll miss an important element in the blink of an eye, so I recommend watching it several times.

It starts with the Black Organization’s Vermouth, Chianti, and Gin, indicating that the evil syndicate is back on the move. Gin’s appearance behind Haibara startles her, and he shoots at her, setting off the events of the film.

Following that, we meet FBI agent Shuichi Akai, Conan, Rei Furuya, and others. The video concludes on a depressing tone, with Ai’s call for assistance heard in the background.

According to the official website, the action will take place on the island of Hachijima, which lies south of the heart of Tokyo. A new law enforcement camera system is being unveiled there, and engineers from all over the world are in attendance.

The technology connects cameras all around the world and allows for facial recognition, making it a huge help to law enforcement but a lethal weapon in the wrong hands. Conan and the Black Organization are reportedly expected to attend the inaugural ceremony.

Conan learns that the organization’s Gin assassinated a Europol agent in Germany. While Conan is worried about the murder, the Black Organization kidnaps an event engineer whose USB contains vital information.

Given Haibara’s history with the organization, she is expected to be a target this time, given it is a tech-related story. Haibara is one of the finest minds of her generation, so it’s no surprise that the organization wants her dead after she left them.

We’re confident she’ll play a role in the plot, but the question is how. After all, it’s a Detective Conan film, so you never know what will happen.
