The franchise’s 24th movie, The Scarlet Bullet, broke records after records and became one of the best Conan movies ever.

At the same time, some stories are better experienced as manga, and those manga-only readers will surely agree with this.

So, the franchise listened to those fans and came up with a sweet little treat for them.

Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet anime film has announced a manga adaptation scheduled to launch in Shogakukan’s Shonen Sunday S magazine’s April issue.

The story follows a mysterious crisis in Japan on the day of two important ceremonies, the opening of the World Sports Games (WSG) and the inauguration of the Hyperlinear bullet train.

A tragedy occurs, creating confusion that leads to the kidnapping of all WSG sponsors while the world watches.

Our brilliant child detective deduces the correlation between the recent abductions and those that happened 15 years ago in Boston, where the WSG was held.

All that follows now is a lot of danger and adventure that will test our super-genius detective’s skills once again. Do you think Conan will be able to figure this one out?

So, I guess our favorite detective pretty much covers our entire spring and early summer schedule.
