Ep 6 of ‘Zom 100’ Features a Surprise Cross Over with ‘Zombie Land Saga’
Zom 100 is one of the most popular anime this season, but it is also one of the only anime facing repeated delays. However, this week, the fans were in for a pleasant surprise with episode six.

The latest episode of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead featured cameos from the members of Franchouchou: Kaede Hondo, Asami Tano, Risa Taneda, Maki Kawase, Rika Kinugawa and Minami Tanaka.
The voice actresses all voiced zombie roles in the latest episode. The only Franchouchou member not represented was The Legendary Tae Yamada. For those unfamiliar, Franchouchou is a zombie idol group with seven singers from “Zombie Land Saga.”
The Twitter account for Zombie Land Saga also posted an illustration to commemorate the collaboration.
The Twitter account for Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead teased the fans by asking if they could figure out when the voice actresses appeared in the episode.
Crunchyroll To Stream Six New Anime Titles in 2024
The sixth episode premiered in Japan on Sunday. However, the episode hasn’t been released on streaming services, including Netflix, Hulu, and Crunchyroll, due to production circumstances.
Zom 100 is an excellent anime with colorful zombies and a beautiful take on life. It is standing on top of all the anime this season. The production difficulties are a problem, but that shouldn’t detract from completing the show.
Anime studios need to put a lot of effort into completing a show. And production difficulties are bound to happen with the amount of work that goes into these projects. It wouldn’t be right to bash these shows, and we should focus on these little surprises that the staff have left for us.
About Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is a dystopian horror-comedy manga series written by Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s seinen manga magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X since October 2018 and is collected into 13 volumes.
The manga was also nominated for the Eisner Award in two categories in 2022.
The story follows a 24-year-old Akira Tendou who has lost all his motivation and spirit due to working for an exploitative company. One day he witnesses his landlord eating another tenant and sees that the city has been infested with zombies, but instead of being afraid, Akira has never felt more alive. He sets out to survive the apocalypse with a bucket list and makes a few friends along the way.
