Eve to Leave The Talk in New Season

The Talk will have three hosts by the end of its eleventh season. Rapper and co-host Eve is leaving the talk show and will not be returning for the new season. Her exit comes as a consequence of the COVID-19 lockdown in the UK, where she is currently living with family. A new host will be brought in in her place but no name has been announced by CBS yet.

In season eleven, which began on September 14th, 2020, Eve had been undertaking her hosting responsibilities virtually while her other co-hosts were present in the studio. With coronavirus cases rising in the UK, the country has enforced lockdown again, making it impossible for the rapper to travel to the United States.

According to a statement given by Eve, she will appear on The Talk for a last time in December this year. She emphasizes how much she enjoyed working on the talk show but with the lockdown restricting travel, she wants to stay with her family and spend more time with them.

Eve has been part of The Talk for four years at the time of writing this article. She shares the position of co-host with Carrie Ann Inaba, Sharon Osbourne, and Sheryl Underwood.
