Exhilarating Climax of Manga Otonanajimi to Ship in August!
The manga, Otonanajimi is almost at its end and from what I know, the romantic comedy story filled with crushes and love triangles is at the peak. Kaede’s life has been on a rollercoaster with her relocating to the head office where she later loses her house. Haru, as usual, jumps right in to save her from that nightmare.

Like most of us, Kaede is a character who is not well versed when it comes to matters of the heart, so even though she and Haru had been living together, she was seemingly struggling.
The manga Otonanajimi is heading towards its climax in volume 7. Publisher Shueisha announced that the manga will be released on 25th August in the September issue of Cocohana magazine!
All we can do right now is keep pondering if both of our leads will have an epiphanic revelation and finally come together or will their ship sink. Which I may add, could be highly unlikely as the previous volume talked about the arrival of a glorious spring.
Volume 6 talked about Kaede feeling a little sheepish upon returning back to work. Even so, she was overcome with joy! I can understand where she is coming from since returning to work could be a little apprehensive but exciting nevertheless.
Also, the Shogakukan Manga Award winner Aya Nakahara, who has worked on several masterpieces such as Lovely Complex, is the woman behind the wonderful manga Otonanajimi.
Many of her works have been adapted as anime or live-action dramas; and Lovely Complex, filled with the Kansai puns was one such example!
Given this history, there have been speculations going around which allude to the fact that Otonanajimi may receive its own adaptation as well!
So, look out for the next volume of the manga and circle the dates in your calendar because the whole ordeal of them dating could be nerve-wracking!

Otonanajimi is a Japanese manga created by Aya Nakahara, it has been serialized in Cocohana since 2019 and has released 5 volumes so far.
The story centers on childhood friends Kaede Kagaya and Shun Aoyama. Ever since they were kids, Shun has been helping out Kaede, and Kaede has held a secret crush on Shun.
But now, thanks to a different girl making a pass on Shun, and the entrance of a different male childhood friend named Iori, things might finally start moving in a romantic direction for Kaede and Shun.
