First Full Promo Video for ‘Buddy Daddies’ Teases the Main Voice Cast
Winter calls for films based on similar themes, such as ‘Home Alone’ and P.A. Works’ upcoming original anime, ‘Buddy Daddies.’ The only distinction is that assassins and the mafia are engaged.
Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa, two assassin roommates, are tasked with caring for Miri Unasaka, the four-year-old daughter of a mafia leader. As illustrated in the anime’s promotions, such a dynamic can only lead to a slew of amusing events.
Aniplex has released the first full promotional video for the ‘Buddy Daddies’ anime, which will premiere in January 2023. The clip shows a montage of the different problems Miri causes Kazuki and Rei.
It all starts with Kazuki dressed as Santa Claus and Miri running into him and calling him her father. From there, the most difficult task Kazuki and Rei have ever undertaken begins, while Miri has a good time.
Despite sharing a room and working in the same industry, Kazuki and Rei are too different yet too similar. Kazuki is a man who runs away from love despite having a bright attitude and being good with women.
Meanwhile, Rei grew up without knowing what love is since he was raised as an assassin. This responsibility of caring for a four-year-old may be beyond their ability set, and it will undoubtedly affect many things for the couple.
Additionally, the series has released a key image of Kazuki and Rei brandishing firearms, with the former also carrying Miri. The video’s slogan reads, ‘Starting today, the buddy assassins are parenting a daughter.’
Furthermore, the trailer previews the key characters’ voices, which means we now have cast information for them:

Along with the seemingly flawless comedy timing and unusual characters, the show may address some emotional issues. Kazuki and Rei might learn to love and open up more because of Miri, while the latter gets to call someone her home.

Concerning Buddy Daddies
Nitroplus and P.A. Works studio created the anime Buddy Daddies. It will be released in January 2023.
