In the 16th Episode of Frieren Beyond Journey’s End, we saw that Frieren went to meet an old friend who was a dwarf. He was 400 years old and with a faded memory, he was working as a protector of a village. Frieren introduced her and he knew her and they talked a lot about their past but Voll the dwarf was unaware of the fact that the Demon King had already been defeated by Himmel the Hero and his party.
Frieren then decided to keep it that way. Voll told her that he protected the village because his human wife was from this village and the village was precious to her. He told Frieren that he had forgotten everything about her wife but after they talked about the past all night, the next day he said to Frieren that he dreamed about her last night and then thanked her.
Next, we moved to a village where Sein was asking about his friend The Gorilla Warrior and we dwelled into their past. The search for Gorilla continued and they got the location of him but they had to put some serious efforts to get that info out of that old woman.
