Goodbye, Don Glees!’s New Trailer Teases Theme Song and Chaotic Escapades

Madhouse’s upcoming anime movie is set to portray teenage years at their best. Set in Iceland, Goodbye, Don Glees! will remind you of the adventures that we’ve always dreamt of having as kids.

The three teenage protagonists have many escapades together and get in trouble often. Will it stop them from having their own world? Absolutely not, as these guys are hell-bent on living their life their own way.

The Goodbye, Don Glees! anime movie will be premiered in 2022. Atsuko Ishizuka, the director of No Game, No Life anime, and studio Madhouse, have joined hands to create the film.

A new trailer of the film has just been revealed:

The trailer shows the chaotic lives of Don, Glees, and Drop, the three friends. Drop, just as his name denotes, had dropped out of the blue in the lives of Don and Glees. 

Off to wild adventures, the trio will eventually have the time of their lives. When a forest fire is blamed on them, these teens will give their all to prove their innocence.

Rock band Alexandros will perform the theme song of the film, “Rock the World.” The trailer gives us a preview of the song. Staff and cast members of the anime have already been announced.

Teen adventures have always had a special place in my heart, and an anime movie format will simply make it dearer to me. Under the watchful eyes of Madhouse, Goodbye, Don Glees! is sure to have a great journey ahead.

About Goodbye, Don Glees!

It is a Japanese anime film produced by Studio Madhouse and directed by Atsuko Ishizuka.

The film tells a coming-of-age story of three boys named Drop, Rōma, and Toto who form a group named “Don Glees.” But when on one unfortunate “Don Glees” expedition to a nearby forest, the trio became the main suspect of a forest fire. To prove their innocence, they go off on an important, life-changing journey that culminates in Iceland.
