Granblue Fantasy Spinoff Anime October Debut, and Trailer
Just as video games are inspired by anime, a lot of popular anime series are also adapted from video games.
The first and foremost name that comes to mind in this genre is the Pokemon franchise. Emerging as a video game in 1996, it went on to become an anime and game giant.
Some video games have an extremely detailed premise, which is a big help in producing an anime.
Granblue Fantasy is a video game that has received a lot of attention from fans and has thus secured a place in the anime industry.
A 4-Koma comedy manga, Grand Blues! Or Guraburu!, based on the Granblue Fantasy series, is drawn by Kikuhitomoji and serialized within the game.
It has been announced by the official website of Guraburu that the manga will be adapted into a short anime series.
The Guraburu! anime series will debut on 8th October 2020 on Tokyo MX and BS11.A new visual for the anime has also been released.
The visual displays characters from the Granblue Fantasy series in a cuter and friendlier form. They seem to be leaping out of the sky, as that is basically where they live.
An official trailer for the Guraburu! anime has also been released.
The trailer starts off on a sombre note, but soon it is cut off by unprecedented comedy. The characters seem to be much more cheerful than in the actual series.
We get glimpses of the dorky sides of the characters, and it is like a fresh breeze outside the serious setting of Granblue Fantasy.
Guraburu! is being produced by DMM.futureworks and W-Toon Studio. Both the studios have collaborated previously on the Umayon anime.
