Harem Comedy Anime ‘Love Flops’ to Debut this October
Love Flops is unlike your average harem comedy due to its magic and horoscope-based theme. Since this is an original anime, the only way to find out the truth behind it is to wait till the premiere.
The story follows a classic harem protagonist Asahi Kashiwagi who encounters a series of unusual incidents as per his horoscope. He meets five girls who are either teachers or students at his school and even receives an anonymous love letter.
Not much is known about this strange story yet, but the answers are closer than you think as Love Flops anime debuts on October 12, 2022.

Besides astrology and magic, the anime has loads of comedy and romance in it due to the characters’ eccentric personalities. Since he’s a harem protagonist, Asahi is always surrounded by girls ranging from tsundere to yandere.
For example, Aoi is the bright and energetic class leader, while Ilya is the shy and nervous type. Then there’s Amelia, a typical tsundere with a clumsy and emotional personality, and Karin is the cheerful and popular one.
Lastly, there’s Bai Mongfa, the series’ only heroine who’s a teacher at Asahi’s school. Everyone except Aoi is from a different country. Amelia is from the United States, Ilya is from Bulgaria, Bai is from China, and Karin is from Germany.
Studio Passione Presents a New Harem Comedy Anime: ‘Love Flops’
With such diverse characters and equally fascinating plotlines, Love Flops looks like a promising harem comedy which is pretty rare to see.
I also hope that this original anime also packs original ideas and doesn’t make it a cliche in the end. Although it seems very unlikely that the creators will give it a creative finale, I still have some faith in it.

Asahi, the protagonist, wakes up to some fortune-telling over television. As he goes on with his day, he realizes that the ridiculous fortunes were coming true and after every incident, he meets a particular girl.
At his school, he realizes that all five of these girls have been transferred to the same institution.
