HIDIVE Reveals English-Dub Premiere of ‘Made in Abyss’ Season 2
The second season of Made in Abyss dives into the Abyss’ sixth layer, The Capital of the Unreturned. That’s a pretty fearful title, so what did the extremely wise protagonists do about it? They decided to check it out.

Jokes aside, this season is even worse than its predecessor, so either keep a tissue box or just don’t watch it and save yourself from the pain. There’s a slim chance you all would go for the second option, so there’s that.
Although it’s as traumatic as an anime can get, the story is way too good to leave in between. This resulted in the show’s massive following, including dub watchers.
HIDIVE noted this and has revealed Made in Abyss season 2’s English-dubbed episodes. The website will begin streaming the dubbed version on August 31, 2022.
The dubbed version of episode 1 will be out on the same day as the anime’s episode 9, so do not use the internet and protect yourself from the spoilers.

All of the main cast is returning from the first season with some new additions to the team. I’m really looking forward to Faputa’s character and how the voice actor portrays her.

Season 2 is based entirely in the Golden City or Capital of the Unreturned. Naturally, something like this is bound to ignite excitement among fans thinking about the main character’s fate.

About Made In Abyss
An orphaned girl named Riko lives in the Belchero Orphanage in the town of Orth.
The town surrounds a strange, giant hole going deep into the Earth, which is commonly called the Abyss.
The Abyss harbours artefacts and remnants of a civilization long gone, and is, therefore, the popular hunting spot for so-called Cave Raiders, who undertake arduous and dangerous descents into the mist-filled pit to recover whatever relics they can find.
Some legendary Cave Raiders earn the title of White Whistle, one of them being Riko’s mother, Lyza.
Riko’s longing in life is to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a White Whistle. One day she discovers a robot resembling a human boy in the Abyss and names him Reg.
Riko and her friends sneak Reg into Belchero and quickly welcome him into their close-knit group.
Sometime later, a balloon reaches the surface from the depths of the Abyss containing pages of discoveries made by Lyza, as well as a message for Riko stating she is waiting at the bottom of the Abyss.
Riko, determined to find her mother, bids farewell to her friends and departs to the Abyss with Reg as her companion.
