HIDIVE to Stream Season 2 of Archery Anime ‘Tsurune’ in 2023

A new rival awaits Minato in ‘Tsurune,’ and it’s someone that the protagonist is pretty familiar with.

In season 1 and the film, we enjoyed the sweet friendship and fiery rivalry between Minato and Shu, but now it’s time for a new opponent. Unlike what we expected, this new rival Eisuke is more like an old friend from Minato, Shu, and Seiya’s past.

Ever since this info was disclosed to fans, they’ve been waiting for more updates about the release, which we have now.

HIDIVE has announced that it will stream the ‘Tsurune’ anime’s second season on its platform in January 2023. More details regarding the subtitles and dub languages will be revealed soon.

The second season is titled ‘Tsurune: Tsunagari no Issha’ (Tsurune: The Connecting Arrow), slated to debut in January 2023. HIDIVE will simulcast it worldwide, as revealed during its panel at Anime NYC.

Further, the staff has not disclosed the new cast joining the crew in the upcoming season. We already know that Jun Fukuyama will be voicing Eisuke from the Tsujimine High School Archery Club, but we’re yet to find out about his teammates.

Eisuke’s character definitely surprised us, and I’m pretty sure Minato and Shu will have the same reaction. On top of it, Eisuke was the boys’ senior in middle school, so it’s obvious he has better skills than them.

Talking about Tsujimine High, it sounds like a troublemaker team who probably doesn’t play fair but still has some tough players in it. The one everyone should look for is definitely Eisuke, but others might be like that too.
