Hidive Welcomes Chihayafuru Season 3 English Dub by Revealing Cast for July
Imagine being split from friends who push you to achieve better things. Chihayafuru’s Chihaya Ayase is similarly split from a talented Kurata player who pushes her into pursuing her talents as she tries to climb her way up the game ranks.

With intriguing card matches, love confessions between players, heartwarming friendships, and a good fill of comedy, Chihayafuru is a comfort anime for me.
Sentai Filmworks had announced that they acquired rights to Season 3 of Chihayafuru as well as home video rights, and so the wait is now over!
The English dub for Chihayafuru Season 3 will stream on Hidive starting on the 30th of July at 10:00 a.m PST every Friday.
The dub has been licensed in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia, Central America, and South America.
The Blu-ray copy will also be released on the 27th of July, 2021, so hurry up and preorder your copy now!

If you usually stray away from sports-related anime, Chihayafuru will change your mind. Not only does it just focus on the protagonist, but the minor characters are developed well too.
For you English dub watchers, I highly recommend tuning in every Friday for an episode you won’t regret (and with a voice cast as good as this one… Need I say more?).

About Chihayafuru
Chihayafuru is a Japanese josei manga series written and illustrated by Yuki Suetsugu. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Be Love magazine since December 2007.
Chihaya Ayase is a schoolgirl who has spent most of her life supporting her sister’s modelling career. However, that changes when she meets a talented Karuta player, a boy named Arata Wataya.
Arata believes that Chihaya has the potential to become a great Karuta player. As Chihaya takes on a new dream of becoming Japan’s best Karuta player, she is soon separated from her Karuta playing friends as they grow up.
Chihaya now strives to become the best Karuta player in the world and to one day be with Arata again.
