I’m standing on the lives of a million people. Manga’s Last and Most Important Battle.

In “I’m Standing on a Million Lives,” Yuusuke Yotsuya’s story is told. He has always hated Tokyo, but he hates the people there even more. He would rather live in a computer game than talk to the people around him.

At the end of one school day, he sees the famous athlete Iu Shindou talking to Kusue Hakozaki. When he looks away and then back, the two are gone.

Yotsuya goes into a state of free fall, and the world around him changes. Soon, he finds out that Shindou and Hakozaki have put him in a game world and given him a mission to complete in 14 days.

Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine’s July issue came out on Friday, and it said that Naoki Yamakawa and Akinari Nao’s manga I’m Standing on a Million Lives has reached its “final decisive battle.”

The first episode came out in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine on June 9, 2016. Since then, Kodansha has put together each chapter into its own tankbon volume. The first volume was made available on October 7, 2016, and as of March 9, 2023, there are sixteen volumes available.

The manga was turned into an anime for TV, and the first season will start in October 2020. All 12 episodes of the anime were finished three months before it came out in October. Both seasons could be watched on Crunchyroll. The second season started in July 2021.

It’s safe to say that ‘I’m Standing on a Million Lives’ is about to end, and there may be a third season of the anime. Still, I’m keeping my fingers crossed because I want this series to end well.

I’m Standing on a Million Lives: Plot

A manga called “I’m Standing on a Million Lives” was written by Naoki Yamakawa and drawn by Akinari Nao. On June 9, 2016, the manga began to appear in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine.

The story is about Yotsuya Yuusuke and his friends Shindou Iu and Hakozaki Kusue, who are taken to a different world.

In this new world, people live with creatures from mythology. As soon as they arrive, the Game Master greets them and gives them a quest that they can only do for a certain amount of time.

Shindou and Hakozaki will help the quest by playing the parts of a Magician and a Warrior, respectively. But Yotsuya is given the role of a Farmer by chance.

So, the three of them start their Isekai journey, with Yotsuya’s farmer class being the odd one out. They have to take on random quests and kill monsters they come across.
