Isekai Anime ‘A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’ Set To Debut in October
‘A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’s VRMMO Life’ is a little different from most that are available now. Instead of following high school-aged students traveling to a new world, this series follows a middle-aged man with somewhat average dreams.
Taichi Tanaka decides to play as a young avatar named Earth when a new sort of VRMMO game arises. As an escape from his tedious and routine existence, he takes himself to the virtual world whenever he has time off from work.
On Tuesday, the official website for the television anime of author Howahowa Shiina and illustrator Yamaada’s Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudōki (A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’s VRMMO Life) light novel series began streaming the anime’s main promo video. The anime is set to debut on October 2.
The video previews the anime’s opening theme song “Magic Writer” by saji, and the ending theme song “Kibō no Recipe” (Recipe of Hope) by Miho Okasaki.
