‘Isekai Yakkyoku’ Anime’s Trailer Makes Fans Emotional for the July Debut
In a world where a medical aspirant becomes a renowned doctor in their 30s or 40s, Isekai Yakkyoku brings you a universe where the most popular medic is a 10-year-old child.
Since it is an isekai, you already know that the kid is a grown-up from the real world, reincarnated in a universe to fulfill some divine purpose. This is exactly how the 31-year-old doctor Kanji Yakutani got isekai-d into the body of 10-year-old Pharma de Médicis.
So if you’re bored of the cliched, overpowered hero in another world, Isekai Yakkyoku anime is here to offer you a refreshing experience with its debut on July 10, 2022.
The franchise posted a trailer previewing Kaori Ishihara’s opening theme song ‘Musō-teki Chronicle’ (Dreamlike Chronicle) and Little Black Dress’ ending theme song ‘Haku’u’ (Light Rain on a Sunny Day) for the anime.
The trailer can be a real tear-jerker for all those who’ve read the novel series. It shows Pharma’s previous life as Kanji, who lost his sister to an incurable disease.
Such a tragedy prompted him to become a doctor to find a cure to every illness in the world, only for Kanji to work himself to death and get reincarnated as Pharma. Being highly skilled and knowledgeable in the field, Pharma created a name for himself.
Adding to his proficiency in medicine, Pharma also gained magical powers of creation, reduction, and the ability to diagnose ailments in other people instantly. It turns out that Pharma’s body is also host to the guardian deity of medicine, so it only makes sense that he’s a medical genius at the tender age of 10.
