Yuji has been encountering tragic events one after another and this time it was Nobara and Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 20 will continue the fight against Mahito after he just tapped Nobara and she fell to the ground.
In the last episode, we saw that Nobara was outside but she left to help others and joined the fight again. Mahito made a clone of himself and sent him in a different direction. The real Mahito was fighting Itadori while the clone went to fight Nobara who just entered the battlefield. Yuji was welcomed with some transfigured humans and one of them exploded.
On the other side, Nobara was unaware of the fact that she was up against a clone who can not alter the soul on touching so she was cautious about getting touched by Mahito’s clone. Nobara was doing good in the fight and brought Mahito to his knees as he was coughing a lot of blood.
Yuji and Mahito turned into an insane battle but the clone ran away from Nobara and ran towards the real Mahito. Yuji and Nobara soon realized that something was terribly wrong when they noticed two Mahitos. Mahito then touched Nobara on the face and we saw Nobara’s backstory and her childhood. The episode ended with Nobara dropping to the ground.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 19 Recap
In the 19th episode, we see that Mahito pulled a trick and created a clone who will fight Nobara so that she can not reach the real Mahito and Yuji can gain the upper hand against him. Nobara was unaware of the fact that the clone could not do anything even if it touched her but the secret soon got revealed and Mahito’s clone got beat up pretty badly.
He then ran away towards the real Mahito and met on the station but to Yuji and Nobara’s surprise, they did not know that there were two Mahitos. Yuji then shouted at Nobara to run away but it was already too late and the real Mahito was able to tap on her face. We then saw Nobara from her childhood, how she spent her time in a small village and made a friend named Fumi who just shifted to her village.
Then they both formed a bond with a lady named Matsuko but she soon left the place and Nobara was pretty sad about it. Nobara used to play games with Fumi’s father. After some time Nobara decided to come to Tokyo for schooling while Fumi stayed back. Then we saw Matsuko still remembered Nobara and was wondering how she was doing. Then we saw Nobara’s monologue where she saw her life against her eyes and then told Yuji that he informed everyone that she had a great life.
