The upcoming anime film “Kin-iro Mosaic: Thank You” is about the lasting bond of friendship between two high school girls.
Based on the manga “Kin-iro Mosaic” by Yui Hara, the story’s central plot focuses on a Japanese high school girl named Shinobu Omiya.
Her life changes when her childhood friend from England, Alice Cartelet, is transferred to the same school. While new challenges arise, the two girls do everything to make their bond of friendship unbreakable.
The official website of Kin-iro Mosaic: Thank You recently revealed a new trailer and announced that the film is all set for a release on August 20, 2021.

An anime television adaptation by Studio Gokumi aired in Japan in 2013, with a sequel in 2015. An anime film will premiere on August 20, 2021.
The story begins with Oomiya Shinobu, a 15-year-old, seemingly pure Japanese girl who actually did a homestay in Great Britain. Even after coming back to Japan, she still misses her time overseas.
One day, an airmail letter arrives from Alice, the girl in Shinobu’s host family in Great Britain.
