Kin-iro Mosaic: Thank You, Anime Film’s Trailer Reveals August Premiere

This film might be the beginning of the end of Alice’s time in Japan. It adapts the groups’ final year trip from the manga and given the title of the movie, this might really be the end.

Although she might leave for England after it ends, there is no doubt she and Shinobu will remain friends forever.

About Kiniro Mosaic

Kin-iro Mosaic is a Japanese 4-panel manga written and illustrated by Yui Hara. The series is licensed in English by Yen Press.

An anime television adaptation by Studio Gokumi aired in Japan in 2013, with a sequel in 2015. An anime film will premiere on August 20, 2021.

The story begins with Oomiya Shinobu, a 15-year-old, seemingly pure Japanese girl who actually did a homestay in Great Britain. Even after coming back to Japan, she still misses her time overseas.

One day, an airmail letter arrives from Alice, the girl in Shinobu’s host family in Great Britain.
