These girls come together to enjoy a reclusive trip in the serene outdoors.

And now you will get to experience these trips with them with their new VR (Virtual Reality) games!!

Virtual Reality Games are video games transmitted on a headset of some kind which shows you a simulated world or the game world which you can experience on your own in full 360°.

Headsets like Oculus Rift come with controllers for a more immersive experience.

The Laid-Back Camp series is coming up with 2 new VR Games based on the stories of manga “Yurucamp Virtual Camp Motosuko-hen” (Motosu Lake Version) and “Yurucamp Virtual Camp Fumoto Camp Jō-hen” (Fumoto Camp Site Version).

The games are set to premiere this Winter and a new PV was released along with the announcement.

The PV is based on the player’s point of view as they witness Rin enjoying camp life while eating ramen and observing the scenic beauty.

Both games will have Japanese audio and subtitles in Japanese, English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean, and French.

The Gemdrops, Inc. game studio is planning to release the games in VR for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Switch VR Kit.

Major consoles like PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and PC game engine Steam will also have access to the new Laid-Back Camp games.

Based on the manga by Afro, the game will feature the characters Rin, a girl who loves solitary camping along the lakesides to view Mt. Fuji and Nadeshiko, the athlete who takes cycling trips to enjoy the views of Mt. Fuji.

These two girls will band together to go on trips and you will get to experience it with them.

The manga had an anime adaptation released in 2018 and 12 episodes were aired. You can find Season 1 of Laid-Back Camp here.

Season 2 of Laid-Back Camp’s anime adaptation is set to premiere in January 2021 where Rin and Nadeshiko are getting some new friends to join their adventure.

These two games will be a breath of fresh air for us scenic beauty lovers stuck at home due to the ongoing pandemic. And we are excited to see the immersive virtual reality experience it.

About Laid-Back Camp

Laid-Back Camp is a Japanese manga series by Afro published in Houbunsha’s seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Forward from July 2015 to February 2019.

An anime television series adaptation by C-Station aired in Japan from January 4th to March 22, 2018. The anime was co-funded and licensed by Crunchyroll.

Additionally, a short anime, titled “Heya Camp,” aired from January 6th, 2020 to March 23rd, 2020. A live-action-drama series premiered in Japan on January 9th, 2020.

The anime series recently announced a second season set to premiere in January 2021, and the franchise also has a film in production.

Yuru Camp is an adorable Slice-of-Life anime that checks the boxes for fun, engaging, and entertaining.

The story is about a group of girls that are part of a camping club at their school and spend their breaks as a club exploring the wilderness.
