The 54th chapter of Levius/est was published in Ultra Jump magazine recently. Nakata sensei revealed that the next volume will be the final volume of the manga.

The original manga, Levius, tells us the story of Levius rising in the rank of metalboxers and how humankind depends on him. However, the sequel manga focuses on the more minute aspects of the story.

Levius/est gives us a more detailed background of the steam-powered state and technology. The pasts of Levius and A. J. Langdon is also explained better.

How their history and sheer willpower drove them to their current position is also shown.

In the manga, our protagonist is shown trying to break the norms of traditional boxing. His capabilities are far more significant than others, and he tries his best to save his mom.

The sequel manga started serialization in the Ultra Jump magazine by Shueisha in April 2015. It currently has eight volumes, with the 8th volume released in July 2020.

The original manga was also adapted into a Netflix anime series in 2019.
