During the 10th Anniversary Memorial Festival! Overlap Bunko All-Star Gathering Special Event Part 3 on April 21, 2024, the release window for the Loner Life in Another World anime was revealed to be October 2024 (Fall Season). Additionally, the event unveiled the voice cast, key staff members, and a teaser video. This anime adaptation was originally announced on January 21, 2024.

The show is directed by Akio Kazumi and is a collaboration between Hayabusa Film and Passione Studios, with assistance from Frontier Engine for animation production. Kenta Ihara serves as the series composer, and Keiya Nakano is the character designer.

The Plot of The Manga.
The Plot of Loner Life in Another World is described as: “Haruka is an ordinary high school loner, going about his own business and keeping to himself as he goes through high school. But one day, he and his classmates are suddenly transported to another world!
Suddenly faced with the god of this new world, Haruka is given a list of cheat skills to choose from. However, there’s a catch—it’s first come, first served, and his classmates have already picked their skills.
Now, Haruka must make the best of what’s left as he ventures through this new world on his own!”
The anime will be based on a series that began as a web novel written by Shoji Goji and published on the Shosetsuka ni Narō website in 2016. Overlap picked up the series in 2018 and released it in print, featuring illustrations by Boota. Boota provided art for the first two volumes, after which Saku Enokimaru took over. Additionally, there is an ongoing manga adaptation with artwork by Bibi in Comic Gardo magazine.
