My Hero Academia Season 5

Finally we have information about the upcoming Season 5 release date, plot, characters and number of episodes getting released. To the fans who were eagerly waiting for the release date, it’s a good day for all of you.

News about Dragon Ball Super Season 2 and Baki Season 4 will be released soon as well, so maybe check them out after you finish this article.

My Hero Academia Outline:

Considered to be one of the new Big 3 titles, My Hero Academia manga is written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, published by Shueisha. It is also licensed by Viz Media, who handles it’s English release.

From Season 1, the series has been published by Studio Bones. So it is more or less confirmed that it will be Studio Bones, who adapts Season 5. My Hero Academia is a very successful franchise and Bones has had a lot of profit from it.

In fact, Studio Bones has also made OVAs and 2 successful movies – MHA: Two Heroes and MHA: Heroes Rising – belonging to the My Hero Academia franchise.

My Hero Academia is the story of Izuku Midoriya. He was born Quirkless in a world where Quirks are a part of daily life. Being a diehard fan of the Heroes who maintained peace, his quirklessness affected his mind and social life a lot. Yet he held on hope. One fateful day, his idol, the number 1 Hero, All Might saw his brave nature and potential. He passed his own quirk on to Izuku, named One for All.

With his new quirk, Izuku finds the incredibly challenging task of mastering it. He enrolls into the U.A Academy, that’s trains students to be Pro Heroes. With this, Izuku’s journey begin – the journey to be the Number 1 Hero.

My Hero Academia Season 5 Plot:

Season 4 covered upto the U.A Festival Arc and ended with Endeavor’s flaming battle with an advanced Noumu!

My Hero Academia Season 5 will continue with the manga material. We expect the Pro Hero arc to be ended properly, as Season 4 left out a few parts. The Joint training arc will be animated, where U.A Class 1-A will battle with Class 1-B. It will be a great arc, developing most of the UA Students and showing a lot of important quirks, details and improvements. This arc has 1 extremely important detail that will become extremely important in the future.

Next up, there is the My Villain Academia Saga.

Episodes:

There are two main possibilities when it comes to the number of episodes airing for the upcoming Boku no Hero Academia Season 5.

The first one is the 12 episode episode season, like Season 1. In this case, the Pro Hero Arc and Joint Training arc will be covered.

The second option, which is much more likely as Season 2 through 4 have followed it, is that Season 5 will contain 25 episodes. In this case, the My Villain Academia Arc will be included as well. That means we will see the Meta Liberation Army arc and maybe Endeavor Agency arc as well.

  • Yamashita Daiki will reprise his role as Izuku Midoriya.
