Levius, the protagonist of the story, wants to reach the highest rank of ‘Metalboxing.’ In this sport, humans who have technologically modified body parts fight each other. The future of humanity depends on Levius’ skills.
The official website of Levius announced that the anime will be broadcast in Japan starting January 2021. It will be broadcast on Tokyo MX and BS11.
In the Japanese broadcast version of the anime, “Link Or Chains” is the opening theme performed by Nana Mizuki. Mamoru Miyano will perform the ending theme, “Beautiful Doll.”
Mamoru Miyano has performed the theme songs for Free!, Ahiru no Sora, DAYS, and more.
Nana Mizuki has performed the theme songs for Grand Blue Dreaming, Dog Days, and others. Both are talented and well-known voice actors in the Japanese anime field.
The new visual shows the premiere date and other details of Levius. All the leading contenders in Metalboxing are shown in the visual, with Levius taking the centre spot.
Although the anime was released on Netflix in 2019, it took more than a year to bring it to Japanese television. Netflix has previously been responsible for the anime adaptation of Baki, which is also a boxing based anime.
