Netizens Vent Out on Twitter as Funimation Goes Under Maintenance

Even the most popular and most used websites face technical problems no matter how good their tech team is. Something similar happened to Funimation last night, and users of that platform are not happy at all.

Funimation has constantly been trolled or criticized for its interface and layout. The technical problem is just another addition to why people do not recommend using it.

But at the same time, Funimation does have some of the best anime in their catalog, some of which are not officially available elsewhere. So, sometimes you have no other way to binge your favorite show ad-free.

Last night the Funimation app and website went down, putting a stop to users watching anime worldwide. The platform informed about the site maintenance issue on Twitter and apologized.

The company informed about their shortcoming 5 hours later, making the users even more pissed. The platform is still down after more than eight hours.

At first, it seemed like a minor issue, but it has now become slightly annoying as the company is not responding, and neither is their streaming platform.

Those in the middle of a crucial fight scene were left at a cliffhanger, and I can only imagine how frustrating that is. But situations like these give rise to hilarious content all over the internet.

I fully agree with the people venting out on the internet. If you’re paying for a service, then you should be able to deliver well. Also, I feel bad for everyone who was binging One Piece.

I hope Funimation gets it together and provides a smooth streaming experience soon, or I’m afraid they’re going to lose their good reputation. Although infamous for its working, Funimation does have a great library of anime that I wouldn’t get elsewhere before the spoilers come out.

I know it’s hard to pass the time when you’ve been interrupted in the middle of your show. So how about catching up on some manga till the site is down?
