Of course, no one was pleased when the delay in the broadcast was announced, but now that the release date is so close at hand, I am finally hoping to see Rudy’s future adventures soon.

With a new snarky demon empress joining in the fray, this upcoming cour will be more exciting than ever!

The second cour of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will be released on October 3, 2021, with 12 episodes as the whole season is listed with 23 episodes in total.

A new trailer has been released to give you a glimpse into the current ongoings of Rudy.

The trailer starts with Eris and Rudeus reaching the coastal city at the edge of the Demon Continent. Soon, Rudeus will meet the Demon Empress, who turns out to be a scrawny brat.

Of course, they are going to get in trouble soon because when has Rudeus not? Episode 12 will continue the plot directly from where episode 11 left off.

Yuki Ohara’s opening theme for the anime, “The Traveler’s Song,” is also previewed in the trailer. Funimation is ready to stream the second cour as it airs in October.

All cast and staff members of the anime have already been revealed. Even a trailer featuring the Demon Empress has been released where you can see her in all her bratty glory.

The anime has stayed true to the manga so far, and fans hope it stays that way. Will the second cour be just as delightful as the first? Stay tuned for more updates on the series.

About Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

Jobless Reincarnation: I Will Seriously Try If I Go To Another World” is an isekai light novel series that was initially published on Shosetsuka ni Naro since November 2012 before Media Factory started publishing under its MF’s Book Imprint in January 2014.

The light novel series wreaked havoc, and it was a success; soon after, i.e., in May 2014, Media Factory started serialization in its magazine ‘Monthly Comic Flapper’.

After more than half a decade, the light novel series is finally being adapted into an anime television series by Studio Bind. The series is scheduled to release sometime next year, i.e., 2021.
