Tohru Honda: Fruits Basket
Many rude or annoying characters populate Fruits Basket. Characters like Kisa Sohma and, more importantly, Tohru Honda, who are mild-mannered and polite, serve as foils in this shojo story.
Tohru’s parents instilled in her the values of kindness, generosity, and selflessness, as well as the need of considering the feelings and needs of others before her own. She learned from her mother that her late father, Katsuya, frequently used “san” while addressing people, so she does the same. She may even go to the extra-courteous length of calling you “Kisa-chan-san”.
Yuu Izumi: Shikimori’s Not Just A Cutie
The cast of Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie may be small and easily forgotten, but at least they’re all pleasant enough to root for. Shikimori’s dandere boyfriend, Yuu Izumi, was a charming guy, and fans of slice-of-life anime praised her outgoing, lively attitude and various talents.
Yuu may be unremarkable, but he is a gentleman who treats everyone with kindness and consideration. Others are more likely to put their faith in him because of this, and it doesn’t matter how much Yuu embarrasses himself with his great clumsiness. One of Yuu’s best qualities, according to Shikimori, is his courtesy.
Yor Forger: Spy x Family
The devoted wife and mother of the Berlint Forger family is known as Yor Briar, now known as Yor Forger. She has good manners and is endearingly clumsy, and her fascinating assassin skills make her the most popular character in Spy x Family.
While Yor does have some dandere tendencies, she is also a gregarious peacemaker. Yor despises conflict and does everything in her power to prevent it, whether it’s through her natural charms or polite demeanor.
Sister Iris: Fire Force
In Fire Force, the little nun Iris occasionally pokes fun at the passionate Maki Oze and sometimes even at Shinra. But that’s the rare case; otherwise, Iris is a relentlessly upbeat dandere and deredere.
Iris is a modest girl who takes her responsibilities as a member of the Sol church seriously and who genuinely enjoys bringing joy to those around her. Iris is as kind and helpful as a nun on the front lines, and she would be devastated if she accidentally offended or insulted someone.
Mr. Yoshimura: Tokyo Ghoul
The majority of the people you’ll meet in Tokyo Ghoul are either completely unlikable bullies like Yamori and Shu Tsukiyama or fake nice guys like the well-dressed glutton Rize Kamishiro. The old ghoul proprietor of the Anteiku cafe, Mr. Yoshimura, stands out as an outlier due to his genuine politeness.
Mr. Yoshimura greets every customer who walks into Anteiku with warmth and politeness, even his opponents from the Aogiri Tree. When confronted by thuggish ghouls who are tormenting or harming people in front of him, Mr. Yoshimura’s courteous mask collapses, revealing horrible fury.
