The story revolves around some controversial issues. However, at the same time, it shows how the characters develop themselves to atone for what they’ve done. And yes, there is a lot of romance as well!

Unfortunately, the manga is going on an indefinite hiatus now. The mangaka, Tōru Kousaka, announced the news on Twitter.

He did not give a specific date as to when the manga will be returning, but we hope that it’s soon.

Coming to the good news, Kousaka announced a new manga in Gentosha’s Lynx Romance magazine. It is called Otoko Shikanai Kuni no Alice (Alice in a Land of Men).

The manga was launched in Lynx’s July issue. The serialization of the new manga is probably the reason for No Money’s sudden hiatus.

The title suggests an isekai and reverse harem-based plot, and considering Kousaka’s other works, it looks like a strong possibility.

The fans are sad that there won’t be new chapters of their favorite boylove manga for a while. But we are also getting a new manga, and therefore the contradictory thoughts on whether to get excited or remain sad.

As I mentioned before, the plot deals with problematic issues like trading humans at auctions and sexual abuse. These are some serious issues that are lightened by the occasional romance and comedy.

The plot is well-developed as it lays down some complex aspects of reality in a way that doesn’t trigger the readers and audience.

This is a must-read for every yaoi enthusiast out there. Of course, I would not recommend it if you’re a first-time yaoi reader, but if you like the darker aspects, then go ahead and enjoy the manga!
